A Day on the Green with Community Key

On Friday, September 19, 2025, Community Key hosted our annual Ladies-Only Golf Tournament at Collicutt Siding Golf Club, just north of Calgary. This year’s theme was Stampede in September, and the ladies did not disappoint. From wigs and cowboy hats to golf carts transformed into balloon bulls, the creativity on the course made the day unforgettable.

Each hole was hosted by one of our generous sponsors who kept things lively with games, challenges, and giveaways. After a morning full of golf, laughs, and a few friendly competitions, everyone gathered inside for lunch, followed by a presentation and some exciting prizes. We had a little fun with our tournament awards:

• Second Place: Ashley Halsey, Emily Waterman, Solhila Shahin, and Kylie Hedges

• “Most Honest” Team: Lys Blouin, Rio Pisony, Carlena Doherty, and Anneliese Lamoureux

• Best Dressed Team: Lorrie Rosher, Lori Cooper, Kim Fritsch, and Jan Hicks

• Closest to the Pin: Eden Simari

• Longest Drive: Sue Saunders

• Shortest Drive: Angela Lobley

And of course, the raffle table was a hit. Prizes ranged from Calgary Flames tickets in Las Vegas, to a Cowboys Music Festival 10-person fast pass bundle, a Ranchman's concert package, personal training sessions, gift cards, an iPad, and even a WestJet gift card. Thank you to our generous prize donors, including Brett Roessel/FNF, Dianne Harrison/Merix, LFG Labs, Rumble Boxing Studio, Tiffany Pederson/Strive, YYC Cycle, Lyndy Hoffman/Scotiabank, and many others who helped make the raffle such a success.

We also cannot thank our host, Collicutt Siding Golf Club, enough for creating the perfect atmosphere for our tournament. It was endless praise from the golfers to the planning committee. We could not have asked for a better day.
